New song by Oh, Sleeper. This band + Matt Chandler = the only Texans I like. Album comes out August 25.

By Raymond Pettibon - part of a billboard project sponsored by Undefeated. Pettibon’s pen and ink drawings, with quirky fragments of handwritten text and cartoon-like imagery, quote sources as diverse as the cartoon character Gumby and 19th-century literature. Pettibon’s work juxtaposes an aggressive rawness with oddly poetic, even metaphysical, sensibility.

The legend

While hanging out at Border’s with some of the Jr. High boys in my lifegroup, we found a 4-inch tall, wind up dinosaur on another table, seemingly abandoned and left for dead by his recklessly irresponisble previous owner - most likely a stubble-faced three-year old, hung over from an apple juice box binge before his mid-day nap. Darn you, apple juice, and your sticky sweet goodness!!!

Upon rescuing him from a life of ophanhood, we quickly dubbed him Chomper and donned him as our official lifegroup mascot. You’ll always have a home with us, little guy. Justice has been served.
